The growth of the gaming community in India has led to the establishment of a number of Indian mobile game development studios, all of which are responsible for creating engaging mobile games. This article will focus on Indus Battle Royale, an upcoming mobile game from SuperGaming set in India.
Successful games like MaskGun and Devil Among Us were developed by Indian company SuperGaming. Numerous games featuring a “battle royale” mode are now available on mobile devices. PUBG Mobile, BGMI, Free Fire, and Call of Duty Mobile are all instances of such games. It’s true that there isn’t a great example of a battle royale game out there right now, but that’s not the case if we’re talking about a game made by an Indian developer.

Throughout the game, you assume the persona of a Mythwalker. A transgalactic organisation called COVEN has discovered an ancient and technologically advanced planet they call Indus, and you, as a contract assassin, are responsible for eliminating any threats to their interests there.
Even after extensive travel through space, most advanced cultures still know very little about Indus. It’s a chain of islands that has never been colonised, has barely been scratched by exploration, and is constantly shifting.
Legends, mysteries, and wonders the likes of which have never been seen before may be found in abundance in the land known as Indus. Before your arrival, nobody would have guessed that this planet existed somewhere in the universe. Yet you were the one to figure it out.
Since there have been rumours of a limitless supply of cosmium in the Indus region, COVEN has taken an interest in the region’s potential natural resources.

All of the action in Indus takes place on a constantly evolving island map called Virlok.

Indus Battle Royale is a free game that can be downloaded on the iOS and Android systems. As a participant, you won’t have to shell out any cash. Like most other free-to-play battle royale games, we want to monetize ours through in-app purchases.

Delivered Through Cooperation
The PC version of Indus Battle Royale uses the Unity game engine, while the mobile version employs a custom-built sandbox shooter tech stack known as the Indus Engine. The mobile gaming market has grown to become the largest hardware segment of the gaming industry, and our company aspires to treat mobile gamers with the respect they deserve.
Unity’s feature set, toolchain, and relatively reduced runtime footprint make it more easier and faster for us to target mobile devices than with other commercially available game engines. The use of Unity allows us to achieve this.
The team has extensive experience with Unity, having used it to develop a wide variety of first-person shooters. We deliberated long and hard before settling on Unity since we want to make the most of our previous experience with the engine and rush the game out to players.

You, like other shooter fans, could hope the game kicks off with a variety of weapons available for your use. The term “heavy weapons” can refer to a wide variety of firearms, including sniper rifles, hand cannons, and assault rifles. This is not an extensive list, though. Currently, it appears as though the game is played from a first-person perspective. Even if a third-person perspective is hinted at for SuperGaming in the future.
Silly Royale and Mask Gun, two earlier games by SuperGaming, encouraged players to collaborate and communicate with one another in an online environment. If the developer wants to make a truly great battle royale game, they will undoubtedly improve upon it.
In a previous interview with Sportskeeda, Roby John of SuperGaming detailed the studio’s plans while calling Indus a “made-in-India for-the-world battle royale.” The game takes place in India, hence this was meant to be a pun. He also made a passing reference to the game in a recent tweet, when he called it the “most ambitious game generated in Indian gaming so far.”
Date of Indus Battle Royale’s Release in India and Everywhere else
Indus, a multiplayer online battle arena game, is currently in development and may launch in 2022. Players familiar with the developer’s back catalogue and fans of the aforementioned subgenre have demonstrated an immediate and intense interest in the game.

Since Indus Battle Royale is still in its infancy, we have not yet established a set of minimal system requirements for it. However, compatibility is a major focus, just as it was in our past games.
We expect a playable version of the game to be released in 2023 March.
We use a wide variety of techniques to deter dishonesty. The beta of Indus Battle Royale will be successful if all participants enjoy themselves and have a fair chance of winning. Similar to how we handle MaskGun and Silly Royale, we will keep an eye out for any suspicious behaviour and take action to prevent it from having an adverse effect on the community.
Although we’re only currently supporting the Free-to-Play version of Indus Battle Royale in our internal testing, we hope to add the Premium version in the near future.
